Third-placed Petro Luanda, on their part, will want to confirm their supremacy over their opponents. The Angolan club has strengthened with the arrival of an American point guard: Elbert Clark Matthews.
REG to emulate Patriots BC
Sahara Conference leaders Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will face Cameroon's Armed Forces and Police (FAP). The Rwandans will want to reach the semi-finals like Patriots BC in the first edition.
REG will be able to count on the support of their fans but also on Cleveland Joseph Thomas, sixth best scorer with 19.2 points per game. The Rwandan team has signed Kenneth Gasana, the Rwandan international guard.
