CAF CL: Group D match highlights and standings

The Angolan giants have hugely improved on the quality of football they play and have become a revived force on the continent. The Petrollers are displaying a series of fine and consistent form in this season's CAF Champions League and have walked their way to the quarter finals.

Petro de Luanda at home won easily against Sagrada Esperança another Angolan sideon Saturday in the fourth round of the CAF Champions League. The Angolans dominated their opponents 3-0. Tiago Azulao scored twice (1' and 44') and Erico Castro from the penalty spot (90+4) top go on top as leaders of group D. They were the first team to qualify for the quarter finals following the group standings. Tiago's first minute goal goes down in history as the fastest goal scored in the competition this season. From a series of exquisite wing plays, the attacker finished off with a half volley to send the crowd wild.
