Société Omnisports de l'Armée (SOA) settled for a draw against Bouaké FC in the 25th day of the Ligue 1. The runner-up to Asec, whose match was postponed due to the Confederation Cup, was held in check and thus missed the opportunity to distance themselves from Sporting Gagnoa. Sporting Gagnoa were unstoppable at home, at the Stade Victor Biaka Boda, where they beat LYS Sassandra by 2 goals to 1. In the standings Gagnoa, 3rd with 43 points, is two points behind the Military, 44 points.
After three games without a win (2 losses and a draw), AFAD has found the way to success. The Plateau Lions dominated AS Denguélé with a score of 3-0. Nguessan Bi Noël scored twice and contributed greatly to the success of his team. This victory allows the Afadists to find the light and secure their 4th place. An important success especially since FC San Pedro got the better of Sol FC 1-0. The only goal of Koffi Berenger allowed the Petrucians to line up a 3rd victory in a row. With 38 points, San Pedro remains a threat to AFAD (41 points) in the race for the superdivision. At the bottom of the Ivorian League 1 table, CO Korhogo gave themselves some breathing space by beating ES Bafing by 2 goals to 1. Korhogo moved from last to 13th place.
