Dana White promises big clash between two African fighters at UFC

Nigerian Israel Adesanya and South African Dricus Du Plessis could face each other by the end of the year. The two fighters have been arguing on social networks and UFC boss Dana White is promising the showdown if the South African beats Robert Whittaker in July.

Many MMA fans have long salivated over a likely fight between the two Nigerian UFC fighters Kamaru Usman and Israel Adesanya. The two "brothers," on the other hand, have never wanted to face each other in the octagon. But fans could have a 100% African clash before the end of 2023. Dana White, the boss of the UFC has promised it. He is going to book a fight between Israel Adesanya and Dricus Du Plessis. The Nigerian and the South African will never go on vacation together. They want to fight in the octagon and spend their time inveighing against each other on their social networks.

"I'm the real African fighter in the UFC."

For Dricus Du Plessis, Israel Adesanya, Kamaru Usman and Francis Ngannou are not real Africans since they have not lived there for years. "Did their belts ever go to Africa? For me, they just stayed in the United States or went to New Zealand. I'm going to take one back to Africa. I'm the real African fighter in the UFC, along with Cameron Saaiman (South Africa). We are the ones who breathe the African air, who were born there, who live there, who train there. That's what an African champion is, and that's what I'm going to be," said the South African.

"It is a product of colonization"

This statement arouses the anger of Israel Adesanya. And the middleweight champion in the UFC hopes to have the opportunity to cross paths with ''Stillknocks'' and settle his account. "It drives me crazy. That's why he's my next opponent. I don't want anybody else. I want to kick his ass," says The Stylebender.

Dricus Du Plessis is 29 years old and has a total of 19 wins and 2 losses in MMA. But most of his fights were in Africa in the EFC. In the UFC, he has only performed 5 times for 5 wins. In July, he will face Robert Whittaker, twice defeated by Israel Adesanya.
