Riyad Mahrez has been Manchester City's strongest player this season. The Algerian winger has been a victim of Pep Guardiola's turnaround, but he has been brilliant every time he has been on the pitch and in all competitions.
It was the first time that he had been on the pitch in the last eight of the FA Cup for the Citizens, and he opened the scoring in the 60th minute of the game. Jack Grealish then made sure of qualification for the quarter-finals by scoring the 2-0 goal.
Riyad Mahrez now has 19 goals and seven assists in 32 games in all competitions for City. He has found the net in the Premier League (8 goals), Champions League (6 goals), FA Cup (3 goals) and Carabao Cup (2 goals).
