Guinean Guirassy (Stuttgart) is on a roll in the Bundesliga. Elsewhere in Europe, Moffi, Kouamé, Thiam, Fall and several Nigerians proved decisive.

Guinea's Serhou Guirassy has made a perfect start to the season in Germany with fourth-placed VfB Stuttgart. The former Rennes striker scored a hat-trick in his team's win at Mainz, taking his total to 8 goals. Frosinone (6th), trailing 0-2 to Sassuolo on their own turf, turned things around with a 4-2 win, Moroccan Walid Cheddira scoring from the penalty spot.

In Belgium (matchday 7), La Gantoise (1st) drew 1-1 with Ould-Heverlee, thanks to Moroccan Ismael Kandouss.Standard Liège (12th) won at Eupen (3-1) with a goal from Ivorian Wilfried Kanga and another from Ghanaian Kamal Sowah. RWDM of Brussels (10th) beat Cercle Bruges (4th) 2-1, thanks in particular to Senegalese Makhtar Gueye, while the Bruges goal was scored by Togolese Kevin Denkey

In the Netherlands (Matchday 5), fourth-placed Feyenoord Rotterdam crushed SC Heerenveen 6-1, with a new goal from Gambian Yankuba Minteh. Morocco's Yassin Oukili scored one of two goals for RKC Waaljwik (16th) against Vitesse Arnhem (2-0).

In Portugal (matchday 5), 10th-placed Farense beat Sporting Braga 3-1, with another goal from Algerian Mohamed Belloumi. But it was once again the young Ivorian Ousmane Diomandé who made the headlines, scoring Sporting Lisbon's third goal (1st) against Moreirense (3-0).

In Turkey (Matchday 5), Adana Demirspor (5th) dominated Pendikspor (3-0), with a brace from Senegalese Mbaye Niang. Kayserispor (5th) defeated Gaziantep (2-0) thanks to a brace from Senegalese Mame Thiam. Nigeria's Paul Onuachu scored one of the three goals for Trabzonspor (4th) against Besiktas Istabul (3-0), while Kasimpasa (11th) drew (3-3) with Alanyaspor thanks in particular to Senegalese Mamadou Fall and Tunisian Mortadha Ben Ouanes.

In other leagues, several Nigerian players shone particularly brightly. This was the case in Estonia (matchday 27), where Ahmed Adebayo scored twice as Tammeka (9th) beat Narva 3-0, and in Finland (matchday 23), where Peter Michael also scored twice to earn VPS three points against KuPS (2-0).
