In Spain (matchday 28), Real Sociedad (6th), more than ever in contention for European qualification, won (3-2) at Granada with a goal from Nigeria's Umar Sadiq.
In France, African players shone. In particular, Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a decisive brace as Marseille (7th) beat Nantes 2-0. Ivorian Christopher Opéri helped Le Havre (12th) beat Toulouse (1-0). Reims (9th) drew well in Paris against PSG (2-2) thanks to Zimbabwean Marshall Munetsi and Ivorian Oumar Diakité.
