With just one month to go before the end of the summer transfer window, several Africans have already changed clubs. Of the biggest moves recorded so far, Sport News Africa has put together a very attractive eleven.
Goalkeeper : Andre Onana
After seven full seasons at Ajax Amsterdam, including three league titles and a Champions League semi-final, Andre Onana has decided to move on. The Cameroonian goalkeeper, AFCON bronze medalist, arrives at Inter Milan for a free transfer. He has signed a five-year contract with the Italian club. His market value is now estimated at 12 million euros.
Right back : Noussair Mazraoui
Like Andre Onana, Noussair Mazraoui has left Ajax Amsterdam as a free agent. The Moroccan, born in the Netherlands and who made all his classes with the Amstellodammers, joined Bayern Munich for four years. At 24 years old, this transfer is quite a challenge for him who has never played in a league other than the Eredivise.
Right central defender: Kalidou Koulibaly
"Finally" sighed many fans of the Senegalese national team. For a long time, Terranga Lions fans have wanted the departure of their captain Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, where his record has remained virtually blank in six years. He left Italy this summer to join Chelsea. Far from the 150 million demanded three years ago by his president, the Blues spent 38 million euros to acquire the 30-year-old African champion.
Left central defender: Nayef Aguerd
This was one of the most filled positions with Nayef Aguerd, Calvin Bassey, Moussa Niakhaté and Romain Saiss. We chose Aguerd who is coming off a great season with Rennes and whose transfer price to West Ham is 35 million euros. However, the 26-year-old player will have to miss the entire beginning of the season due to an injury sustained in a preparation match. His participation in the 2022 World Cup with Morocco is even uncertain.
I will now take some time to rest before starting rehabilitation as soon as possible.
I am ready to work hard as I always did to come back stronger inchallah 🤲

Left back: Calvin Bassey
The 23-year-old Nigerian is one of the revelations of last season. Calvin Bassey has indeed greatly contributed to the success of Glasgow Rangers, finalists of the Europa League. Capable of playing in the center or at left back, he signed at Ajax who put 23 million euros on the table. A transfer that should allow him to continue to grow.
Central midfielder: Yves Bissouma
Much courted in recent years, it is finally this summer that Yves Bissouma finally leaves Brighton. Tottenham spent 29 million for his transfer. Good at recovery and able to contribute in the offensive animation, the 25-year-old Malian could flourish in the system of Antonio Conte.
Relaying midfielder: Franck Kessié
Italian champion with AC Milan, Franck Kessié has chosen not to renew his contract which was coming to an end. The Ivorian midfielder even leaves Italy where he arrived in 2015 from Stella Club of Abidjan. It is Barça who managed a good move by attracting him without paying a transfer fee. Kessié has signed a four-year contract with the Blaugrana.
Attacking midfielder: Youssouf N'Changama
It is perhaps not the most striking transfer. But what a talent! The 31 year old Comorian showed at the last AFCON that he really had the ball and could do great things. After a very good season in Ligue 2 with Guingamp, Youssouf N'Changama leaves free to Auxerre promoted in Ligue 1.
Right wing: Simon Adingra
He is the youngest of the eleven. Still unknown to the general public, Simon Adingra, 19, is an Ivorian nugget. He played last season at Nordsjaelland in the Danish first division. Recruited this summer by Brighton for 8 million euros, he is on loan at Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium.
Left wing: Sadio Mané
The two-time African Ballon d'Or winner has animated the beginning of the transfer window. After winning everything with Liverpool, Sadio Mané is starting a new challenge. The Senegalese star has signed at Bayern for 32 million euros. Yesterday Saturday, for his first official game, he contributed to the victory of the Bavarians in the German Super Cup against Leipzig (5-3) by scoring the second goal.
Center forward: Sebastien Haller
Sebastien Haller left Ajax Amsterdam for Borussia Dortmund a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the Ivorian will miss several months of competition. He has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his testicles and is undergoing chemotherapy. BVB spent 31 million to bring him back to Germany.
