Football - Nigeria - Watford: Emmanuel Dennis on Forest radar

Emmanuel Dennis is probably starting to pack his bags if we have to go by what the Daily Mail says. The reputable British paper announces an agreement between Watford and Nottingham Forest about the Super Eagle striker. An amount of about 25 million euros is mentioned for the transfer.

It is a matter of hours. Emmanuel Dennis will be a player of Nottingham Forest. According to the Daily Mail, the Super Eagle has indeed agreed with the Forest management on all terms of the contract. The same source also announces that the Hornets should get a nice check of 25 million euros. "The two clubs are in advanced talks on an agreement for Dennis. And there is optimism from everyone involved. The deal will be done," reads the Daily Mail.

Dennis would bring a lot of money to Watford, who will make a nice capital gain on the Nigerian. He was bought for about 3.5 million euros from FC Brugge (D1 Belgium), in the summer of 2021.

Emmanuel Dennis has made a decent first season in England. Despite the Hornets' relegation from the Premier League, the 24-year-old managed to score 10 goals. Dennis also distilled 6 assists. Not to mention his 60 shots of which 26 were on target.

Forest wants to close this file very quickly before being overtaken by West Ham and Newcastle who also have Emmanuel Dennis in their sights. The latter are a much more experienced and richer opponents for new boys Forest.
