German Super Cup: First trophy for Mané - Video

The winning mentality of the Senegalese International Sadio Mane is on an upward spiral. After his Liverpool career marked by winning the Champions League and the Premier League among others, his debut in the German top flight was a memorable one. Mane scores his first official goal with his new club and also bags the first trophy of the season.

Sadio Mané has successfully made his debut with Bayern Munich. The best African player participated in the victory of the Munich team in the German Super Cup on Saturday, July 30 against Leipzig (5-3).

Lined up at the front of the attack, the former Liverpool player scored the second goal. He could have scored a hat-trick but his two other goals were disallowed for offside positions. Moroccan Noussair Nazraoui came on, while the other two Africans in the Bayern squad, Eric Choupo-Moting and Bouna Sarr, did not make the game sheet.
