Three matches were scheduled on Sunday, December 25, for the ninth day of the Guinean League 1 championship. At the 28-Septembre stadium (Conakry), Horoya AC consolidated its leadership position by ensuring the minimum against SOAR Académie. The eight-time Guinean champion won, in fact, on the score of 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored by Daouda Camara (5th). With this success, Horoya AC takes the lead with 25 points. Flamme Olympique is in second place with eight points behind. SOAR Académie, which has gone five games without a win (four defeats and a draw), remains in fifth place.

At the Friendship Stadium in Kamsar, Club Industriel (CIK), which has been in a bad spiral since the beginning of the season, made the best move of the day. Last in the standings, CI Kamsar knocked off Hafia FC, who had won four consecutive matches. The only goal of the game was scored by Sékou Oumar Yansané just before the hour mark (59th). Despite the loss, Hafia FC is in third place with 16 points, tied with Milo FC. CI Kamsar is still the bottom team with 7 points.
