Indomitable Lions Get Financial Motivation For AFCON 2021
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon are now fixed on their bonuses during the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.
In a campaign to bring transparency in the management o the national team, the financial incentives to the players for the tournament have been made public.
Each of the 28 players present in coach Antonio Conceiçao’s list will receive the sum of 445,000 FCFA and this money has been given to the players already.
For participating in the tournament, each Indomitable Lion will receive the sum of P30,000,000 FCFA. The players have already received this participation bonus already as well.
For qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition, each Cameroonian player will bag home the sum of 15,000,000 FCFA.
A win in the round of 16 will fetch each Indomitable Lion the sum of 9,000,000 FCFA.
In case the host gets a win at the quarterfinals, each player will earn the sum of 10,000,000 FCFA.
A big deal comes in case of a ticket for the final on February 6, 2022, each Indomitable Lion will take home an additional sum of 15,000,000 FCFA.
Should Cameroon fail to make it to the final and settle for the third place classification game, a win in the little final to finish third in the competition, each player will bag home the sum of 5,000,000 FCFA.
In a situation of host and take, that is to say the team goes all the way to claim the the ultimate accolade, each player will get the sum of 30,000,000 FCFA for helping Cameroon to sixth Africa Cup of Nations triumph.
The financial incentives are mouth watering, it’s now time for the Indomitable Lions to rise up to the challenge.
