Inter Milan: Andre Onana's next move to the Italian club is causing a stir

Inter Milan have not yet presented Andre Onana, but not everyone is happy about the fact that he will be joining the Italian club in June 2022.

Andre Onana is set to join Inter Milan in Serie A next summer from Ajax Amsterdam. The Cameroon international, who will be free of contract in June 2022, has agreed a deal in principle with the Italian club. However, the arrival of the Indomitable Lions goalkeeper is not to everyone's liking at Inter.

In an interview on Sportiva radio, Oscar Damiani, the agent of the second goalkeeper of the Nerazzurri Ionut Radu took offense to the signing of the Cameroonian keeper. For him, with his client on the bench, Inter did not need André Onana. "Radu Ionut is a better keeper than Onana. I know goalkeepers, I'm the one who brought Dida to Milan and I was laughed at, but you all saw what he did. Things didn't work out as we hoped at Inter and he will leave at the end of the season," he said.

The 24-year-old Romanian international had returned to the San Siro after loan spells at Avellino, Genoa and Parma, hoping to take his place as Samir Handanovic's understudy and be prepared for the future. But his club decided otherwise and signed Andre Onana. The Ajax Amsterdam keeper, who came through Barcelona's youth academy before joining the Lancers in January 2015, has 26 caps for Cameroon.
