Naby Keïta knows that he has never been about consistency at Liverpool. Repeated injuries have often prevented him from mounting his expertise. Never, the captain of the Sily National of Guinea has indeed had such a good preparation since his arrival in the Premier League. What gives moreover ideas to Naby for the season 2022-2023. The Liverpool midfielder has therefore stated his two goals for the season.

Naby Keita has set himself the double challenge of playing more games and scoring more goals. "Every season I set goals to try to compare and challenge what I did the previous season. I always try to improve and do even more," says Naby Keita. He continues. "Last season went pretty well. I played a lot of games, which we won. This season, I would like to do the same thing again and play every game I can. More than anything else, just to help the team and maybe get on the scoresheet more often," continued the former Leipzig player.

A final year of contract at stake
Naby Keita has entered the last year of his contract with the Reds. The latter are then eager to reach an agreement to extend his stay at Anfield that began with his arrival in 2018. Bought for 62 million from RB Leipzig, Naby Keïta (27) notably made 40 appearances last season, four goals and three assists.
