Our thoughts are with you", said PSG.

A minute's silence in Spain

In Spain, the Federation has decided to observe a minute's silence before last weekend's second division matches. A gesture that will be repeated next weekend for first division matches.

"Our special relationship with Morocco, for geographical, historical and sporting reasons, means that we feel this tragedy very closely. For this reason, and in remembrance of those who lost their lives in this disaster, all second division matches played this week will be preceded by a minute's silence. (...) The Royal Spanish Football Federation and La Liga jointly invite the clubs and fans of our country to join in this respectful minute's silence", the Federation said. FC Barcelona also expressed their "solidarity" with the victims of this tragedy.

Real Madrid also had a message for the victims."Our club wishes to express its condolences and support to the families of the deceased and to all the Moroccan people. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured, to whom we convey all our strength and affection," Real reacted in a statement."All my solidarity with the Moroccan people and all the families affected by this terrible earthquake", Carlo Ancelotti writes, in a message posted in French on his social networks.
