Asisat Oshoala has signed a contract extension at Barcelona which will see her remain at the club until 2024.
The Nigerian striker's previous three-year deal was due to expire this summer, but Barca have officially tied her down to fresh terms on Thursday morning.
Oshoala told the club's official website after the announcement was made: "I am just happy to be in the best team in the world.
"It's not just about their football, you look off the pitch, and it's about how they treat footballers to keep improving.
"I am a striker and I want to keep scoring more goals. I love it. The goal is to keep growing and to be happy.”
Oshoala has racked up 68 league appearances for the Catalans since joining the club from Dalian Quanjian back in January 2020, scoring 64 goals.
Of those outings, 19 goals have come from 16 games in the 2011-22 campaign, and she has enjoyed a prominent role in reigning European champions starting XI 11 times in the current season.
The reigning African Women's Player of the Year opted to shift the speedstar from her winger position into leading at the fore front of the attack, which has led to an upturn in results since the Spanish and Champions League successes.
Since the arrival of the 27-year-old forward, the Catalans have celebrated nine title successes, including two Spanish Iberdrola and Uefa Women's Champions League title and on the brink of a third successive crown.
With a 6-0 win over Alaves, Barcelona have won 23 of their 23 league matches to move 22 points clear in the top-flight standings, and they will guarantee the league title if they pick at least a draw against Real Madrid on Saturday.
