Tanzania head coach Poulsen calls Samatta for International friendly matches

 

Tanzania’s head coach of Taifa Stars, Kim Poulsen has invited Belgian based striker Mbwana Ally Samatta ahead of two international friendly matches.

 

The Taifa Stars captain who plies his trade with Royal Antwerp in the Belgian First Division is among the 27 players invited for the matches against the Central African Republic and Sudan.

The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) announced that Taifa Stars will face the Central African Republic on March 23rd at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Sudan will later face the Central African Republic on March 26th, before Tanzania battles Sudan after three days at the same Stadium.

The Taifa Stars coach also invited 19-year old forward Kelvin Pius John who features for Gent in Belgium.

These two international friendly matches will be a big boost in our preparations ahead of several matches this year including the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2023 qualifiers,” said Poulsen.
