The striker was unveiled on Monday to become the third foreigner to join the champions.
Lawal who moved from Rwanda Premier League side AS Kigali has signed a two year contract.
“I feel happy and at home. They have shown me love ever since I arrived here,” said the Nigerian forward.
Lawal made it clear that since he knows the team has never made it to the group stages of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, he will work hard to make sure they can reach far this time.
“I’m here to give my best. I know the club hasn’t been in the CAF Champions League group stages. So, I am here to help and fight to make that dream come true,” he added.
The Nigerian who netted eight goals for his former Club in Rwanda has formerly also played for Nigerian Premier League sides Kano Pillars FC, Wikki Tourists FC and Nasarawa United.
Apart from the other two Congolese players that Vipers Sc have signed Alfred Macumu Mudekereza and Olivier Omadjondo Osomba, they have also added four more new Ugandan players to their squad and these include; Isa Mubiru, Marvin Joseph Youngman, Ashraf Mandela and Abdu Lumala.
