Ugandan International Mukwala signs for Ghana League champions Asante Kotoko

 
Ugandan International Steven Dese Mukwala has signed a two year contract with Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko SC.
 

“I am very happy that finally I have signed for the champions of Ghana and ready to start a new chapter as a professional,” said Mukwala.

Mukwala, a former top scorer in the Uganda Premier League last season featured for Uganda Revenue Authority FC.

The top Ghana Club also confirmed on Wednesday that they signed  Mukwala on a two year contract.

The 23-year-old highly rated striker spent the 2019-20 season at Maroons FC where he was crowned top scorer of the Uganda Premier League.

He netted 13 goals in 23 appearances to emerge top scorer in the 2019/2020 Uganda Premier League while on loan from Vipers SC.

Mukwala becomes the second Ugandan to play for Asante Kotoko after defender Joseph Ochaya who featured for the same team between 2012-2014.
