The rest of Day 2 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers saw a number of draws. Senegal, Mauritania, Cameroon and Angola were held to a draw. Ghana had a tough time of it, losing to the Comoros.
Senegal fail in Togo
Togo's unbeaten run against Senegal in Lomé continues. The Sparrowhawks drew with the Lions of Teranga (0-0) on November 21, day 2 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Senegal, however, tried to impose their game by attacking from the front. However, Aliou Cissé's men came up against a compact Togolese block, conceding even the most dangerous chances in the first half.
Édouard Mendy was saved by the crossbar before being forced to intervene with a low shot. The Togolese even had a great chance late on.Sadio Mané, a lively performer in this match, was unable to find a way through, allowing his team to walk away with the 3 points. Ghana's disappointment in Madagascar
After their victory over Madagascar (1-0) on the first day, Ghana lost to the Comoros (1-0) on Tuesday November 21. The Black Stars, who have been criticized lately, were crucified by Myziane Maolida just before half-time (43rd). Cameroon held by Libya

Libya are in 3rd place, also with 4 points (+2) after two days of qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
Mauritania still not off the ground
Beaten at home by DR Congo (0-2), Mauritania took on South Sudan at the Stade Me Abdoulaye Wade in Diamniadio, Senegal, on Tuesday November 21, in a bid to get back on track. However, the Mourabitounes failed to do so on Day 2 of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.They were held to a 0-0 draw by the South Sudanese. Mauritania thus find themselves in 5th place with one point in a group comprising Senegal, DRC, Sudan and Togo.
