Finally for Mali. It wasn't until the 12th day of competition that Mali picked up its first medal of the 13th All-Africa Games and it was thanks to Taekwondo, a discipline much adored in this West African country. The medal was won by Siriman Ballo. He finished 3rd in the 54 kg category.
