South Africa continue their adventure on home soil. Banyana Banyana qualified for the quarter-finals of the COSAFA Women's Cup at the end of the 3rd and final day of Group A.

Facing Eswatini in a match where defeat was synonymous with elimination, they put on a show to win (3-0) thanks to a hat-trick from Thubelihle Shamase. The South Africans thus finish 2nd in the group behind Malawi, who dominated Madagascar (3-1). With a 3rd victory in as many games, the Malawians are assured of 1st place. For their part, Eswatini (3 points) and Madagascar (0 points) are eliminated.
