Tom Saintfiet has resigned as Gambia coach. The Belgian coach announced the news after the Scorpions' defeat by Cameroon on Tuesday January 23 in the final round of Group A matches. His contract with the Gambian national team runs until 2026. He arrived on the Gambia bench in 2018 and played 45 matches for the Scorpions, winning a second consecutive AFCON qualification.
