Soundly beaten by Equatorial Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire were banking on a Cameroon defeat or draw against Gambia to give them a chance of reaching the knockout. Unfortunately for the Elephants, the Indomitable Lions snatched victory from the Scorpions (3-2). And the Ivorian fans present at the Bouaké stadium were not at all happy with Christopher Wooh's injury-time goal. They booed and threw bottles at the Cameroonian players as they celebrated the goal that opened the door to the knockout.
🔴 Les supporteurs ivoiriens présents au stade de Bouaké n’ont pas apprécié de voir les Lions indomptables se qualifier face à la Gambie.
On vous aime quand même ! 😘🇨🇮
