The Namibian national team arrived in Ghana on Thursday, December 29. The Brave Warriors are holding a training camp at Western Legon in preparation for the AFCON 2023. The team will play 2 matches against local clubs."We will have friendly matches with two local Ghanaian clubs and an international friendly as well before we leave for the AFCON," confirmed Collin Benjamin, the Namibians' coach on his arrival in Accra.
One of the clubs is Legon Cities FC. The name of the second club has yet to be announced. For the international friendly to be played by Namibia, they are in advanced negotiations with Ghana.
Namibia came with 28 players. At the end of the training camp, the coach will unveil the list of 27 players selected for the competition. The deadline for submitting lists is January 3.
