Senegal changes its mind. The FSF has agreed to travel to Kigali to play Rwanda in the 6th and final round of te 2023 AFCON qualifiers. This information was given by the Senegalese media Sud Quotidien. Last week, Senegalese officials issued a terse statement in which they said they wanted to play the match in Dakar. And that the agreement in principle between the two structures, reached over a year ago, did not hold because it was simply not written and signed.
The match between Rwanda and Senegal is scheduled for September 9. The Lions have already qualified, while the Rwandans have been eliminated. Three days later, Senegal will face Algeria in a friendly at Diamniadio's Abdoulaye Wade stadium.
