The first edition of the African School Championship continues in South Africa. At the end of the second day, two teams have validated their ticket for the semi-finals in the women's tournament. These include the School Omar Ibn Khatab of Morocco and Scan Aid of the Gambia. These two formations join the school Fountain Gate of Tanzania in the last four which will take place at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday. The last qualified team will be known this Friday during the last group match.
In the boys' category, the Guinean school of CS Ben Sekou Sylla is almost qualified for the last four. It has signed two victories and leads group B with six points. The Guineans are ahead of Clapham High School (4 pts) from South Africa, CEG Sainte Rita (3 pts) and Salima Secondary (1 pts).
