Strongly courted by the Algerian Football Federation, Houssem Aouar would be on the verge of making a crucial decision for the continuation of his professional soccer career. According to the newspaper L'Equipe, the player of Olympique Lyonnais should announce in the coming hours his choice to play for the Algerian national team.
Although he has already had a selection in the French team in October 2020 (friendly against Ukraine), Aouar can still change his sporting nationality since he has not yet played an official match with Les Bleus.
