Moroccan athlete Saad Hinti won the gold medal in the 400m hurdles. He also broke the Moroccan record for the distance with a time of 48.82s. The silver and bronze medals went to Botswana's Ntweng Victor Bonnye (49.38) and Kemorena Tisang (50.09) respectively.
