The Council of African Ministers of Youth, Sports and Culture has announced that it has officially chosen Egypt to host the 2027 All-Africa Games. This will be the second time that the country of the pyramids has hosted the 1991 edition. The decision was endorsed at a meeting held on Saturday, September 9, alongside the All-Africa Games in Ghana. The All-Africa Games are the largest sports forum in Africa. They are held every four years under the supervision of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa.
