All-Africa Games: Ethiopian triple in the 5000 m
Ethiopia strikes hard in the first final of the athletics events at the All-Africa Games in Accra. The East African country scored a hat-trick of victories in the women's 5000m. Eisa Kumanda Medina won with a time of 15mn04s32. She finished well ahead of her compatriots Kesete Birtukan Molla (15mn05s32) and Shaarew Melkat Wudu (15mn07s04).
