Arsenal's attack is the subject of much debate across the Channel, as the players' stats are the subject of much debate. Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah between them have scored 8 goals in 32 games played. This relative inefficiency, according to Football Talk, explains Arsenal coach Arteta's interest in Bayer Leverkusen's Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, who in the league alone has 10 goals and 7 assists in 16 games.
His profile as a finisher and creative player would appeal to the coach. A transfer that won't be easy to complete, given Boniface's importance and Leverkusen's title challenge. The player is currently valued at €40 million by Transfertmarkt. But it's almost certain that Arsenal will have to pay much more for the player. Other players rumoured to be on Arsenal's radar are Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen.
#AFC | A report from Fichajes says Arsenal are willing to 'make a splash in the January transfer market' with a striker on the agenda. It would be fair to take this with a pinch of salt but the names are:
