Koné Maboundou scored a double success in the 200m at the Meeting de Nancy on Sunday 18 June in France. She won the race with a time of 22.57 seconds. Koné Maboundou finished ahead of France's Gemima Joseph (23.01 sec) and Brazil's Vitoria Cristina Rosa (23.02 sec).
With this time, Maboundou Koné is qualified for the Budapest World Championships scheduled for 19 to 27 August 2023.
