Qualified for the Final 8 of this edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL 2023) which takes place in Kigali, the Senegalese club AS Douanes has validated its qualification for the semi-finals. Opposed to Ferroviario da Beira, the Gabelous won against a Mozambican side they dominated from beginning to end (93-73). AS Douanes could count on the duo Samba Dali Fall - Jean-Jacques Boissy, authors respectively of 23 and 15 points to make the difference. The Senegalese qualify for the first time in their history in the last four and will meet the Ivorians of ABC Fighters or the Angolans of Petro Luanda for a place in the final.
