Heading to the Basketball African League (BAL), Egyptian club Al-Ahly have signed an experienced American trio to improve their squad. The recruits are Tony Mitchell Jr, Patrick Gardner and Prince Adams Ali. Mitchell, 31, played for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA. He has played for a number of clubs, including Al-Wasl of the Emirates in 2018, Al-Naft of Iraq in 2022, and currently plays with the Taipei New Kings of Taiwan. Patrick Gardner (24), meanwhile, is a player in the American University League. Lastly, Ali, 27, has played for a number of clubs.
