Barcelona are facing a lengthy absence of goalkeeper Ter Stegen due to a back injury. According to Catalan sports daily Sport, Barca are targeting Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou to fill the gap. Newcastle have the same problem as Barca, with first-choice keeper Nick Pope set to be absent for an extended period (4 months). To compensate for Pope's absence (dislocation of a shoulder), the Magpies have put the name of Al-Hilal's goalkeeper on their short-list.
