To face the Stallions of Burkina Faso, Paulo Duarte, coach of the Hawks of Togo, has called on eleven (11) strikers. In a pre-game press conference this Thursday, March 23 in Marrakech, the central defender of the Stallions, answered the question about the heavy task that awaits them against the strikers.
"We have a good team and good defenders so we will be prepared to face Togo. Whether they call eleven strikers or not, I tell myself that they will not line up eleven strikers on the day of the game. If they put too much, it will be four strikers. We will also be four in defense and I have confidence in my guys. They play at a high level, there is experience, so we will be ready," he said in conference.
The match between Stallions and Sparrowhawks counting for the third day of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers, will take place this Friday, March 24 at the Grand Stade of Marrakech, Morocco from 19 hours GMT.
