Mohamed Konaté and Aziz Ki scored the two Burkina Faso goals. For Mauritania, Pape Ibnou Ba reduced the deficit. The two nations will meet again in three months' time in Côte d'Ivoire for the first day of Pool D of the AFCON 2023.
