Burkina Faso should know the identity of the new Etalons coach in the next few days.French coach Hubert Velud's contract, which expires in April, has not been renewed. According to Sport News Africa, a local coach has been chosen.And the name of Oscar Barro is being bandied about.Barro, who has coached AS Fonctionnaires and Racing Bobo Dioulasso in Division 1, as well as the senior national team, had a brief stint as interim coach in March 2022, during two friendlies in Kosovo (0-5) and Belgium (0-3). Burkina Faso are scheduled to play two friendlies during the next international break (March 18-26), against opponents yet to be determined.
