It was a day that will live forever in Medeama's history. The Ghanaian club won their first match in the group phase of the CAF CL, this Friday December 1, against Belouizdad (2-1). New to the competition, they rectified their defeat by Al Ahly last week to win on Matchday 2. The Algerians had opened the scoring through Benguit (39th). But Medeama fought back with two goals from Lomotey (45th) and Mamudu (94th).
In 3rd place in Group D, Medeama (3 points) join Belouizdad on the same number of points, while awaiting the second outing of Al Ahly.
