CAF proceeded, on Tuesday, April 4, to the drawing of lots for the African Schools Championship. 14 teams divided into four groups will take part in this competition in the men's and women's events. The first edition will be held in Durban, South Africa, from 5 to 8 April. All matches will be played at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
In the boys' competition, pool A includes Clapham High School (South Africa), CS Horizon de Bukavu (DR Congo) and CEM Belaouche Mouhend Oulhadji (Algeria). Salima Secondary School (Malawi), Complexe Scolaire Ben Sekou Sylla (Guinea), Royal Giant (Uganda) and CEG Sainte Rita (Benin) make up group B.
In the girls' group, Edendale Technica (South Africa), Fountain Gate Dodoma Secondary School (Tanzania) and Scan Aid (Gambia) are in group A. In group B, we find CEG Mfilou (Congo), Anse Boileau (Seychelles) and Ecole Omar Ibn Khatab (Morocco).
