Athletico Abidjan is off to a good start in the Women's Champions League. As hosts of the tournament, the Ivorian club dominated Morocco's SC Casablanca on the first day of Group A. Esperence Agbo scored the only goal of the match. The Côte d'Ivoire champions are now provisionally top of Group A, pending the meeting between JKT Queens and Mamelodi Sundowns.
