The South Africans easily overcame Tanzanian side JKT Queens (2-0) on Sunday, November 5, as part of the first day of Group A. Ramalepe (40th) and Tholakele (74th) scored for Mamelodi Sundowns. The African runners-up are now top of Group A, ahead of Athlético Abidjan, who beat SC Casablanca 1-0.
