The world of African soccer has been rocked. The Confederation of African Football has opened an investigation into football legend Samuel Eto'o. CAF has announced that it will investigate "allegations of inappropriate conduct" by the president of the Cameroon Football Federation.
The continental body announced on Wednesday August 9 that it had received written requests from several stakeholders in Cameroonian soccer for the examination and investigation of certain alleged inappropriate behaviors by Eto'o. "Although the allegations are prima facie serious, Mr. Samuel Eto'o is presumed innocent until an appropriate judicial body concludes otherwise", CAF says.
