After arriving in Cameroon on Sunday night, Marc Brys will officially sign a contract with the Ministry of Sports on April 8 to become the Indomitable Lions' coach. A signing ceremony for the Belgian technician and his technical staff is currently underway at the Ministry. However, the ceremony is being held without Samuel Eto'o. The President of the Cameroon Football Federation, who disagreed with the Ministry's choice of coach, declined the invitation. In a press release, the Cameroon Football Federation stated: " We would like to inform you that we received the letter two hours before the said ceremony ", to justify the absence of its president. It also cited preparations for his father's funeral as the reason for his absence, which is bound to cause a stir in a context of conflict between Fecafoot and the Ministry of Sport.
