Group B of the Women's COSAFA Cup has also delivered its verdict. At the end of the 3rd and final day, Mozambique and Zambia confirmed their qualification for the quarter-finals. Having beaten Angola (1-0) and the Comoros (5-1) respectively, the two teams now occupy the top two places in the group.
It was the Copper Queens who finished top with 7 points, thanks to their superior goal difference, ahead of the Mozambicans, also on 7 points. Angola (3 points) and Comoros (0 points) are out of the competition.
