Coupe du Faso 2023: EFO win the final by beating Salitas FC

Etoile Filante de Ouagadougou (EFO) won the Coupe du Faso 2023 on Sunday 28 May in the final against Salitas FC (3-0) at the sold-out Stade Municipal Issoufou Joseph Conombo in Ouagadougou. La Reine des Stades crucified Les Colombes de Ouaga 2000 to win their 14th Coupe du Faso. They will represent Burkina Faso in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

EFO outclassed Salitas FC thanks to a brace from Honoré Camille Yé and a goal from Ange Cyriaque Ouédraogo. The 36th Coupe du Faso took place under the watchful eyes of the President of the Transition of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, and the President of the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) Samuel Eto'o.
