It's the end of a long reign at the helm of TP Mazembe. The Crows ' all-powerful president, Moïse Katumbi , has announced his departure as head of the club.He made the announcement on BBC radio on Saturday April 6."I do have experience. I've been involved in soccer for more or less 40 years, including 27 years at the helm of TP Mazembe. I'll soon be retiring from soccer. I'm already over 25 and I think I'm the oldest president on the continent.It's time to make way for youths," he declared.
During his tenure, TP Mazembe won three Champions League titles (2009, 2010, 2015) and reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2010. In addition to several Linafoot (D1) championship titles.
