The transfer of Côte d'Ivoire international Jean-Philippe Gbamin (28) has been announced as completed by a number of media outlets. According to L'Equipe, the defensive midfielder, who has been available since August, has signed a contract with the Dunkirk club until June 2024. Speaking to La Voix des Sports on Monday, sporting director Demba Ba also spoke of the signing as a done deal: "I sold him our project, he's going to relaunch his career, we're going to put him in the spotlight and he's going to bring us experience, we're going to continue to build up the team [...] Sometimes, one player can change a group dynamic. Today, I sincerely believe that we're not far off," he indicated.
