After being sidelined by Pep Guardiola during the quarterfinals of the Champions League, Riyad Mahrez took his foot off the pedal against Sheffield United in the FA Cup semifinals on Saturday 22 April.
The Algerian scored a hat-trick and Manchester City won (3-0). He started his festival at the end of the first half by converting a penalty (43rd). He continued his destruction of the Blades in the second half by scoring in quick succession in the 61st and 66th minute.
